Mid-Level Android Developer (Kotlin)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
• Define, design, and deliver features with cross-functional teams according to business and user requirements.
• Ensure application performance, quality, stability, responsiveness, and maintainability across supported Android devices and versions.
• Investigate technical issues, resolve defects and performance bottlenecks, and use profiling and memory analysis tools to optimize applications.
• Integrate Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs and apply Android UI/UX guidelines.
• Contribute to automated development and testing practices, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile initiatives, shared mobile code, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technology evaluation.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing Android applications, supported by a strong portfolio or relevant projects.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including core language features, object-oriented programming, and modern development practices.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation through testing, release, maintenance, and support.
• Proven experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and sharing code across mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience integrating Android applications with backend services.
• Understanding of Android design principles, interface guidelines, and UI/UX standards for accessible, intuitive, and consistent applications.
• Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, analyzing memory usage, and optimizing responsiveness with profiling and debugging tools.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control tools, maintainable code practices, code organization, and automation techniques.
• Ability to investigate technical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
