TL;DR
Android Developer (Kotlin) (Fintech): Building modern Android banking features for millions of users with an accent on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, clean architecture, and REST API integration. Focus on implementing user-facing functionality, designing reliable app architecture, writing automated tests, and troubleshooting production issues.

Location: Remote in Georgia or the European Union; remote and hybrid work options are available. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

What you will do

  • Develop individual Android features from scratch using high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA specialists to deliver user-facing functionality.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android application.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and refactor code to maintain quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues found by users or during testing.
  • Support testing and quality assurance of the Android application.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
  • Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
  • Understanding of MVI and Clean architecture principles.
  • Experience with dependency injection using Dagger and custom navigation approaches.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs with OkHttp, plus knowledge of coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
  • Practical experience with unit and integration testing using Mockito and JUnit, Git-based workflows, and debugging.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools such as Amplitude, Firebase, and Splunk.
