Android Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote-first, executable from anywhere; GMT to GMT+4 time zones preferred. Optional office access in London, Warsaw, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Paris.

What you will do

• Build and ship the Creative App for Android, bringing AI audio capabilities to millions of users.
• Integrate mobile features with AI-driven audio models.
• Use product experiments and their results to decide which focused bets and incremental improvements to pursue.
• Work closely with design, product, and research.
• Shape the app’s architecture and technical direction.
• Own performance, quality, and responsiveness in the production app.

Requirements

• Strong native Android development skills with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, plus a track record of shipping features that improved engagement.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests and using data to decide what to build next.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities, with the ability to add structure where needed.
• Experience owning performance, quality, and responsiveness in a production app.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio playback or streaming on Android.
• Experience building mobile infrastructure for build, test, and release pipelines.
