Associate, Banking Analysis (Healthcare)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite office location in Dallas.

What you will do

• Conduct detailed financial analysis of individual, public, and privately held companies to assess investment opportunities.
• Review financial reports, statements, budgets, forecasts, internal controls, auditing, accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Research trends, themes, and business models across healthcare and other industry sectors, and screen target companies.
• Prepare presentation materials for investment discussions, market landscape decks, client pitches, M&A pitches, and IPO pitches.
• Oversee analysts by providing training, coordinating cross-team collaboration, and managing daily task completion.
• Provide healthcare industry subject matter expertise and oversee Vendor Risk Operations, external vendor relationships, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or U.S. or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field plus one year of experience in the offered role or a related role; or a Bachelor’s degree, or U.S. or foreign equivalent, in one of these fields plus three years of experience.
• Required experience must include one year with a Master’s degree or three years with a Bachelor’s degree analyzing company data, including strategic operating plans, live transaction documentation, regulatory filings, annual reports, and other public disclosures.
• Experience producing client reports using market data analysis and electronic data sources, including Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ.
• Experience developing and reviewing financial models, including operating models, M&A, DCF, and LBO models.
• Experience with operational and financial benchmarking, broker analysis, premia analyses, and regression.
• Experience using market data applications and Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, to track volumes, manage workflows and projects, handle large datasets, reduce manual processes, and manage risk.
• Experience using drug and healthcare databases, including BioMedTracker and BioCentury, to support company valuations, benchmark drug launches and drug sales, and create client materials alongside bankers.
