Associate Product Developer

Location: On-site in Everett, Washington, United States

Salary: $31.54–$39.42 per hour, with potential discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Manage product development timelines for assigned items and ensure planned ship dates and manufacturing milestones are met.
• Coordinate product concepts, production schedules, licensor approvals, internal stakeholder reviews, factory communication, and product data maintenance.
• Create and maintain tech packs, line lists, product specifications, and development tracking records.
• Review product samples, packaging, testing documents, and factory feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with sourcing and cross-functional teams on costing targets, bill of materials, contribution margins, and product specifications.
• Support approximately 15–18 new items per month from initial concept through final goods leaving the factories.

Requirements

• Degree in Product Development, Merchandising, Engineering, or a similar field; or 3 years of related product development or product creation experience in consumer goods, toys, apparel, footwear, fast fashion, or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of and experience with product timelines and product creation.
• Experience with costing, bill of materials creation, spec sheet or tech pack creation, design translation, and product and material development.
• Understanding of product creation and the product lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail and organization throughout product development and production.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communication with all organizational levels, external partners, vendors, and licensors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with product tracking tools and software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Smartsheet.
