Field Systems Integration Engineer (US Citizenship Required)

Location: US - Tucson, AZ. US citizenship is required; applicants with a Green Card, current work visa, or future visa sponsorship needs are not eligible. Regular travel of up to 30% is required, primarily domestic with some international travel. Preferred schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Arizona Mountain Time.

What you will do

• Test and validate software in laboratory and field deployments against user and mission requirements.
• Design, execute, maintain, and document test plans, including defects identified in real-world operating environments.
• Set up, configure, and integrate hardware and software systems for internal testing, customer installations, demonstrations, and operational test events.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose software, system, network, and deployment issues and improve product quality.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and partners, including troubleshooting at customer locations and test events.
• Develop product expertise and serve as an independent, customer-facing technical resource in dynamic field environments.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required. Applicants with a Green Card, current work visa, or future visa sponsorship needs cannot be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, plus hands-on field experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software integration, testing, deployment, or system-level validation.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience working in software development and test environments.
• Experience supporting or deploying systems at customer sites or in operational environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% for field deployments and installations, primarily domestically with some international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with control systems such as SCADA, surveillance, or access control.
• Familiarity with security or sensing hardware, including cameras, radars, and analytics platforms.
