Revenue Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; hybrid, with in-office work Tuesday–Thursday

What you will do

• Lead monthly revenue accounting for assigned Capital Markets business lines.
• Evaluate customer contracts and revenue arrangements under ASC 606.
• Review and approve revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze revenue-related income statement and balance sheet results for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls.
• Support quarterly and annual audits, acquisition integrations, system implementations, and process transformation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including month-end and quarter-end close activities and exposure to revenue accounting.
• Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Combination of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in technology, software, SaaS, fintech, or financial services organizations.
