Sr HVAC Product Training Lead

Location: Massachusetts, United States; travel up to 50%

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead technical training for assigned LG HVAC product lines, including new releases and product enhancements.
• Develop, review, and update curricula, presentations, instructor guides, student materials, hands-on exercises, assessments, e-learning modules, instructional videos, and digital learning resources.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Field Teams, and content development teams to identify training needs and prepare product launches.
• Test new HVAC products, equipment, and controls; evaluate installation, commissioning, operation, service, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, hands-on, and Train-the-Trainer instruction at LG Academies, Associate Academies, and designated field locations.
• Support academy operations, including schedules, laboratory readiness, equipment, software, controls, maintenance, contractor work, and approved work orders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HVAC industry experience, including substantial technical training, service, product support, or technical content development experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with VRF, ductless, and/or residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Vocational diploma or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in HVAC or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience is considered.
• Ability to deliver technical training and develop clear, practical instructional materials and hands-on exercises.
• Experience with product testing, technical evaluations, or new product introductions, including interpreting installation and service manuals, electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and controls sequences.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, technical support, and/or learning content development teams.
• Understanding of HVAC installation, commissioning, system operation, troubleshooting, and industry best practices.
• Strong communication, technical writing, presentation, project coordination, analytical, and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects, support academy operations, and travel up to 50%.

• Familiarity with e-learning development, learning management systems, and instructional video or digital learning content.
