Location: Works from home in Colorado, USA; the role requires travel of up to 50% when needed.

Salary: $108,896–$145,195 annual base salary for Colorado.

What you will do

• Oversee site implementation, including site surveys, cabinet installation, network integration, testing, turn-up, and preventive maintenance.
• Support deployment of long-haul optical transport networks, LAN/WAN installations, equipment evaluations, network upgrades, and system design changes.
• Review bills of materials, installation-ready materials, engineering design packages, drawings, statements of work, schedules, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with site contacts, site managers, Field Operations Personnel, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Provide field training, functional guidance, supervision, quality assurance, and oversight for Field Engineers.
• Resolve installation discrepancies, update field methods and procedures, maintain documentation, and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years supporting the P9k program, primarily in field engineering.
• Technical knowledge of telecom ISP design and installation.
• Experience using an Optical Power Meter, amp meter, voltmeter, and other test equipment.
• Ability to analyze and operate an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR).
• Working knowledge of standard security operations and procedures.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% when needed.
