Business Analyst Co-op

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay, 22nd Floor. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Support data-intensive projects and partner with business stakeholders across the bank.
• Develop and implement data enablement strategies, support frameworks, processes, and best-practice documentation.
• Assist with developing monitoring algorithms and implementing new strategies.
• Produce reports and analytics and support data and analytics enablement.
• Develop and maintain automation, tool enablement, and robust data strategies.
• Identify data and analytical needs and provide appropriate support and recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation for continuous improvement and enhancements.
• Strong data analytics and reporting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ideas involving analysis, interpretation, and assessment.
• Ability to investigate complex problems, interpret information, and understand how internal banking processes translate into data outputs.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external clients and cross-bank teams.
• Skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, able to provide a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• French proficiency may be assessed during the application process.
