Specialist, Sourcing Strategic Sourcing Category Manager - Business Applications (Business Applications)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; other location: Chicago, Illinois. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $108,965–$185,155 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies and perform category analytics for software technology and banking platforms.
• Lead RFx processes, including project management, RFx development, negotiations, and supplier award decisions.
• Review technology agreements, including NDAs, master agreements, and statements of work, and lead contract, pricing, and ongoing administration activities.
• Manage supplier relationships, due diligence, supplier reporting, deal reviews, rationalization, and demand management opportunities.
• Manage procurement compliance, regulatory requirements, performance metrics, and contract systems, including Coupa and the Contract Management System.
• Partner with business stakeholders to implement sourcing solutions, improve services and processes, and support change through training and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in sourcing or procurement, including sourcing for indirect categories such as IT.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement.
• Strong analytical, sourcing, negotiation, communication, project management, organization, and time-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, including PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of technology software, banking or treasury platforms, and supply chain management.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Professional procurement or supply chain designation, such as CSCP or CPM.
