Plant Controller (Medtech)

Location: Onsite in Jayuya, Puerto Rico

Base salary: $112,000–$154,000 per year, plus discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary finance leader and business partner for the Jayuya manufacturing site, acting as the site's senior finance leader and financial partner to the Plant Leader and Solutions Group Controller.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly close activities.
• Maintain ownership of the site's financial records, including the P&L and balance sheet, while ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and hirify.global financial policies.
• Report financial performance, business trends, risks, and opportunities to plant and finance leadership.
• Partner with operations leaders to improve manufacturing performance, manage variances, optimize working capital, and drive profitability.
• Support capital planning, cost savings, process improvements, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration across FP&A, Global ISC, COEs, and shared services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, supply chain finance, plant finance, or a related finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Proven ability to drive change, implement process improvements, and deliver business results.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence and challenge leaders at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience partnering closely with manufacturing and operations leaders to support business performance and decision-making.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
