Identity Strategist (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Austria or the UK

Salary: From €80,000 gross annually for a full-time 38.5-hour week, with possible additional compensation based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Partner with new and existing enterprise customers to evaluate risk profiles and design tailored fraud strategies.
• Recommend approaches for risk mitigation, user friction reduction, and verification workflow optimization.
• Design standardized identity workflows optimized for different verticals and use cases.
• Lead onboarding and launch readiness by identifying and resolving technical, regulatory, legal, policy, and operational bottlenecks.
• Advise customer risk and fraud teams on emerging fraud vectors and industry best practices.
• Coordinate implementation milestone validation, readiness reviews, go-live planning, and go-live execution.

Requirements

• Relevant professional experience in fraud, identity, AML/KYC, digital risk, or a related field, including meaningful customer-facing experience in consulting, technical account management, solutions, professional services, product, or implementation.
• Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills focused on risk strategy and workflow design.
• Project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional Product, Engineering, and Legal/Compliance teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical fraud concepts through clear, value-driven narratives for executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity verification, fraud, compliance, fintech, or enterprise software solutions.
• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, SaaS platforms, or implementation methodologies.
• Project management certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with global enterprise customers.
