Senior Security Architect (AI)

Location: New York, NY; US Remote

Compensation range: $160,000–$200,000 total compensation

What you will do

• Design and implement security and enterprise architecture strategy across the internal ecosystem.
• Own security architecture standards, reference patterns, and guardrails for security engineering and IT.
• Establish and chair an Architecture Review Board covering applications, vendors, acquisition integrations, and AI adoption.
• Build an end-to-end third-party risk management lifecycle and maintain vendor, application catalog, and governance ownership.
• Answer customer and auditor architecture questions, including security questionnaires and enterprise reviews.
• Maintain architecture decision records and diagrams documenting architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security or enterprise architecture, including design work in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
• Strong experience with IAM/IGA, cloud security across AWS, GCP, and Azure, SaaS and application-integration security, and data security including DSPM/DLP.
• Hands-on experience architecting AI and agentic systems and securing LLM tooling.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/42001, SOC 2, NIST, and related vendor-risk and audit frameworks.
• Pragmatic approach, ability to challenge engineering and IT decisions, and ability to use AI tools for rapid prototyping.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, or CCSP certification.
• Experience in a global enterprise.
