Senior Software Engineer, Zone Procure (AI)

Location: Uruguay; other locations listed as LATM and United States. Fully remote role in a globally distributed environment.

ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, embedded in Oracle NetSuite and serving more than 4,500 customers across the financial lifecycle.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver complex, high-value features across the platform with scalable and observable solutions.
• Integrate AI workflows to improve engineering throughput while maintaining quality.
• Identify technical trade-offs, reduce long-term complexity, and anticipate architectural bottlenecks.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into staged technical execution plans and communicate business consequences to stakeholders.
• Improve code quality through refactoring, rigorous reviews, documentation, and stronger engineering standards.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and own OKRs, KPIs, delivery quality, timelines, and blockers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from ambiguity through successful production delivery in a globally distributed environment.
• Strong verification discipline and experience designing testable solutions for high-consequence business logic.
• Proven effectiveness in fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environments with high autonomy and disciplined self-direction.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders across time zones.

• Experience in fintech, payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS.
