Salary: $39,108–$111,111 per year.

hirify.global's Research and Development Division supports a small-molecule pipeline through early drug discovery research.

What you will do

• Apply DNA-encoded library technology to accelerate early drug discovery.
• Use biochemical and next-generation sequencing techniques to develop DNA-encoded library selection methodologies.
• Screen proteins of interest for small-molecule binders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on DNA-encoded library technology and early drug discovery processes.
• Follow industry-standard laboratory practices and maintain rigorous experimental documentation.
• Present findings in oral and written formats, with a potential pathway to co-authorship on scientific publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. program in biochemistry, chemical biology, biophysics, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Foundation in standard biochemical techniques.
• Excellent academic performance, communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work in a multifunctional environment.

Nice to have

• More than 3 months of continuous, hands-on scientific laboratory experience performing biochemical and molecular biology experiments, such as gel electrophoresis and PCR.
• High motivation to address affinity selection challenges and design new assays.
