Lead & Principal Engineers (Life Sciences/Data Centres)

What you will do

• Lead engineering design and technical delivery within the relevant process, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural, or building services discipline.
• Provide technical direction, review designs, and resolve complex engineering challenges while ensuring project requirements and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Support projects across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Mentor and develop engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in the relevant engineering discipline and a strong track record of delivering complex capital projects.
• Experience operating at Lead or Principal Engineer level, including technical leadership, design coordination, or mentoring responsibilities.
• Experience in Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, Data Centres, or other complex industrial sectors.
• Strong technical judgement, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable or required where appropriate to the role.
