Senior Clinical System Lead (Clinical Data Systems)

Location: Remote or hybrid in Mexico, Colombia, Canada, or the United States; approximately 15% domestic and/or international travel required.

What you will do

• Lead and direct one or more Clinical Data Science project teams through the initiation, planning, setup, maintenance, control, and closing of clinical trial systems.
• Support sales activities, contribute technical expertise to business development, and participate in bid defense meetings.
• Review study team technical documentation, work output, and case report forms for quality.
• Act as a contact point for internal and external customer teams and assist with internal and external project kickoff meetings.
• Track issues affecting timelines, scope, or budget; escalate potential problems and negotiate timelines and deliverables with clients and external teams.
• Oversee system integration setup, vendor interactions, and project-level revenue and resource forecasting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of clinical data management experience, including implementation and management of clinical data systems.
• Technical understanding of relational databases and their operation, with the ability to create medium- to complex-level data flow diagrams.
• Applied project management skills, including timeline prediction, resource requirements, and financial tracking.
• Detailed understanding of protocol content and data collection requirements, including user experience and underlying dataset structures.
• Ability to react quickly and adapt to changing requirements, processes, and timelines in an agile manner.
• Ability to lead teams in internal user acceptance testing of configured system solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent; an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Fluent written and spoken English and the host-country language.
