Electrical Engineering Co-op (PLC/HMI)

What you will do

• Assist with electrical schematic design, P&IDs, and control panel layouts using Solidworks Electrical.
• Assist with PLC and HMI programming, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Participate in testing control panels and field instruments, including pressure, temperature, and flow sensors.
• Create and update technical manuals, datasheets, and engineering project documentation.
• Assist field technicians in identifying and resolving electrical malfunctions.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Technician program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics.
• Understand circuit design, motor controls, and basic electrical systems.
• Have familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or PLC software such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, a curious troubleshooting mindset, and good communication skills for teamwork.
