Marketing Communications Specialist (Social Media)

Location: Hybrid in Northfield, OH, with travel to the Holden, MA office 1–2 times per week.

Salary: $58,700–$67,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute external communication strategies for current and potential employees.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create news stories, case studies, social media posts, webinars, graphics, videos, and written content.
• Manage LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and implement campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Monitor industry trends, social media conversations, mentions, and performance metrics, responding promptly and recommending improvements.
• Use SharePoint for document management and ClickUp for scheduling and calendar management.
• Coordinate communication efforts with cross-functional teams, external partners, influencers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in communications and social media, including social media management and a strong portfolio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools, plus knowledge of analytics tools for social media tracking.
• Familiarity with Adobe or Canva graphic design tools and basic video editing skills.
• Familiarity with Hootsuite or comparable social media marketing management tools.
• Strong organizational, project management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to present work through a portfolio and/or website or social media platform.
• Willingness to travel to the Holden, MA office 1–2 times per week.
