Vice President, Product Management - Web of Science Research Intelligence (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America; primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to accommodate global teams, customers, and events as needed.

What you will do

• Execute the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Web of Science Research Intelligence portfolio across research analytics, bibliometrics, research evaluation, impact assessment, and institutional decision support.
• Own portfolio performance, including revenue growth, customer retention, adoption, expansion, profitability, and market share.
• Translate the needs of research institutions, government agencies, funding organizations, and research-intensive enterprises into product strategy.
• Lead product planning, prioritization, investment decisions, launch readiness, commercialization, and adoption programs across product, engineering, data science, design, sales, marketing, and customer success.
• Drive the evolution of InCites Benchmarking & Analytics, Journal Citation Reports, Essential Science Indicators, Pivot-RP, Esploro, and Converis into an integrated, AI-native research intelligence platform.
• Act as an executive spokesperson and thought leader while building alignment across Research & Analytics, Academic & Government, and hirify.global leadership; develop a diverse, engaged, high-performing global product organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 10 years of product management experience, including 7 years leading product teams at the Vice President or comparable level.
• At least 5 years managing enterprise software, SaaS, data, analytics, or AI-enabled product portfolios.
• Experience with direct P&L or commercial accountability for a product portfolio.
• Experience leading a global product organization with at least 5 direct and indirect team members.
• Experience with AI-enabled products involving model evaluation, AI governance, explainability, privacy, or responsible AI.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years working with customers in scientific information, research, higher education, government, or another knowledge-intensive industry.
• Knowledge of bibliometrics or research assessment methodologies.
• Experience with research analytics, funding intelligence, research information management, or institutional decision-support platforms.
• Experience modernizing and integrating established products into a unified platform.
