Service Engineer (Networking)

Location: Remote, based in Oran or Algiers, Algeria; predominantly domestic travel required for 30% of the role.

What you will do

• Ensure the proper functioning of solutions, handle incidents, and respond to client requests according to TAC2/TAC3 service levels.
• Monitor existing installations and perform field interventions.
• Provide on-call support from home during nights and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
• Design, configure, and commission WAN, LAN, routing, telephony, CCTV, and other connectivity solutions.
• Support the project manager during technical studies, engineering, and project execution, and provide technical assistance to the sales manager.
• Prepare and maintain internal and external reports, documentation, procedures, and continuous status reporting.

Requirements

• INTTIC BAC+5 graduation or similar education.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or service role in networking.
• Knowledge of TDM and packet switching, TCP/IP, routing, MPLS, and wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Visio, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Microsoft Office.
• Highly autonomous and team-oriented, with strong communication and writing skills, excellent multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
• Professional fluency in Arabic, French, and English.
• Willingness to travel domestically for approximately 30% of the role.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity knowledge.
• Programming or scripting experience.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
