TL;DR
HPE Networking Systems Engineer (Networking) (Networking infrastructure and pre-sales): Developing tailored networking solutions, proposals, and proof-of-concept engagements for major and public-sector customers in Abu Dhabi with an accent on campus and distributed branch networks, security, SASE, and cloud connectivity. Focus on defining technology roadmaps, positioning solutions against competitors, collaborating with territory managers and partners, and driving complex opportunities through technical deal closure.
Location: UAE, with major and public-sector accounts in Abu Dhabi; hybrid work requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do
- Create technology roadmaps for assigned customers, focusing on HPE Networking priorities.
- Design and document networking solutions and proposals aligned with customer business requirements.
- Implement and support customer proof-of-concept engagements.
- Present HPE Networking capabilities, business value, differentiators, and competitive positioning.
- Work with territory managers, internal experts, customers, and HPE partners to qualify opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
- Support proposal development and the technical aspects of complex deal pursuits through closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or significant experience in networking technical and pre-sales roles.
- At least 8 years of technical professional, pre-sales, or post-sales experience.
- Extensive networking experience covering routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and network management platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Juniper networking certification is required; HPE, Cisco, and other certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CISSP, or CCIE are preferred.
- Experience with network access security platforms, including HPE Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, or Cisco ISE.
- Strong solution-selling, customer-facing, communication, consultative, and collaboration skills, including experience with Abu Dhabi major accounts and the public sector preferred.
