Technology Lead - Networking

What you will do

• Define and govern reference architectures, design standards, configurations, and approved patterns for LAN/WAN, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud networking.
• Own the networking technology roadmap, evaluate vendors and platforms, and make recommendations on practice investments.
• Lead design reviews for complex customer deployments and validate solution designs for strategic pre-sales engagements.
• Develop reusable architecture diagrams, proposal content, build guides, and technical narratives.
• Lead automation and AI-enabled tooling for network provisioning, configuration management, performance monitoring, anomaly detection, and improved MTTR.
• Represent networking architecture in governance forums, document decisions, develop training materials, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of networking engineering or architecture experience, including at least 3 years in a design-focused or architecture role.
• Experience designing large-scale, multi-site, multi-vendor, hybrid-cloud enterprise networks.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routing and switching; Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point security-edge platforms; SD-WAN; and Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki wireless.
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, hybrid connectivity, SASE, SDN, and network automation using Ansible or Python.
• Strong documentation, mentoring, and technical leadership skills; managed services, professional services, or consulting experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• CCIE or equivalent expert-level certification.
• CCNP Enterprise, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Fortinet NSE 7/8 certification.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or Microsoft Azure Network Engineer certification.
