Project Manager (Offshore Wind)

Location: IJmuiden, The Netherlands; remote working solutions will not be considered. Willingness to travel and/or work abroad for short periods during project mobilization and demobilization is required.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate project deliverables from initiation through close-out, including plans, schedules, resource allocation, governance, reporting, and status updates.
• Define project objectives, scope, success criteria, and alignment with business goals; manage risk reviews, mitigation plans, stage gates, dashboards, and risk registers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as the interface between customers, internal stakeholders, management, external contractors, suppliers, and partners.
• Prepare work instructions and work packages, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure compliance with contractual, procedural, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
• Manage quality activities including NCR actions, cross-functional requirements, competency, training, capacity, and lessons learned.
• Support commercial performance through new-order identification and sales, OPS-result verification, P&L and forecast management, revenue and billing tracking, margin management, KPI implementation, and monthly reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of proven project management experience.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Safety Checklist Contractors degree (VCA Vol).
• Knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel and/or work abroad for short periods during project mobilization and demobilization.
• Ability to collaborate with and motivate teams in an operational and matrix environment, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, and follow up on subordinate personnel.
