BI Consultant Senior (Power BI)

Location: Remote from Spain, Portugal, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, or Romania

What you will do

• Prototype, design, develop, and publish Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and gather analytics and reporting requirements with Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data mart designs and create technical documentation for BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, tune report performance, and optimize SQL queries and indexes.
• Build and modify tables and views, and implement security in reports and dashboards according to access requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in reporting and dashboard development, including 2+ years of reporting and analytics with Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge of M Query, DAX, data modeling, and row-level security.
• Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and ETL concepts, plus experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms.
• Mastery of SQL.
• Hands-on experience delivering finance reporting and BI solutions for finance stakeholders.
• Advanced English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to lead conversations with technical and business representatives.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international project team with colleagues from many countries and cultures.
