Senior Software Engineer (Content Management System)

Location: Hybrid; must be near one of hirify.global's corporate offices in Memphis, TN, McLean, VA, or Dallas, TX, United States. Travel up to 10%.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver content-driven features for hirify.global.com and other customer-facing applications, including code reviews, unit tests, and bug fixes.
• Customize and extend Content Management System capabilities.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery managers, quality engineers, designers, and developers to design and implement web application experiences.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute maintainable, documented enhancements to reusable code libraries.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.
• At least three years of experience developing large-scale web applications using Java, microservices, multithreaded programming, and web design patterns.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Couchbase or MongoDB, messaging architectures such as Kafka or Redis, and front-end technologies including React, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, Docker, and Git used in a team environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement near McLean, Dallas, or Memphis.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree, or an associate's degree plus five or more years of Technology-related experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 or more years of Technology-related experience.
• Five or more years of experience in Technology or a related field.
• Content Management System professional certifications.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and understanding REST principles.
