Google Workspace Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote; client projects span EMEA.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Google Workspace deployments, domain cutovers, tenant architectures, and data migrations for SMB and enterprise clients across EMEA.
• Provide post-implementation technical support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and Workspace advisory services.
• Implement identity governance, security policies, DLP, SSO, SAML, and integrations with Okta and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Configure and troubleshoot mail routing, tenant structures, and DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC across Cloudflare and Route53.
• Automate provisioning, migration workflows, and administrative tasks using GAM and Google Workspace APIs.
• Own technical change management, client guidance, diagnostics, DNS validation, synchronization troubleshooting, and API quota management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of overall experience with SaaS or cloud platforms, including hands-on Google Workspace administration or configuration.
• Deep practical experience with Google Workspace Migration Tools, including GWMMO, GWMME, and GCPME, as well as GAM, Google APIs, and advanced DNS management platforms.
• Hands-on experience configuring SSO, SAML, and directory integrations with identity providers such as Okta and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of email architecture, routing, and SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX record prioritization.
• Proven ability to take full technical accountability for migration outcomes, including data verification and DNS validation.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain complex migrations to non-technical business leaders.
• B2/C1 English proficiency for technical discovery meetings, client presentations, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification.
• Experience with additional cloud identity providers or third-party email security gateways such as Proofpoint or Mimecast.
• Scripting experience with Python, Apps Script, or Bash for extending Google Workspace APIs and automating workflows.
