MuleSoft Integration Architect Technical

Location: Remote; LATAM, Europe, or Canada, with the ability to work with US-based clients and stakeholders. Warsaw, Poland is listed in the conditions.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end integration delivery for enterprise clients, from requirements discovery and solution design through development, testing, and production deployment.
• Act as the primary technical contact in customer-facing engagements, leading workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Architect and implement integrations with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including point-to-point and event-driven connections across CRM, ERP, HRIS, ITSM, and custom applications.
• Use REST, SOAP, SFTP, messaging queues, webhooks, and additional iPaaS platforms such as Workato or AWS Integration Services.
• Apply Salesforce platform knowledge to deliver Salesforce-centric integration patterns; create reusable assets, templates, and runbooks.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce integration best practices, collaborate on scope and risks, and contribute to pre-sales demonstrations, RFP responses, and effort estimation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise integration experience, including at least 3 years with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Experience in a consulting firm, systems integrator, or professional services organization delivering solutions for large and complex client environments.
• Customer-facing experience independently leading technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and executive presentations.
• Expertise in API-led connectivity, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, SFTP/MFT, JDBC, JMS/messaging, and event-based integration patterns.
• Proficiency with at least one additional iPaaS platform: Workato, AWS EventBridge or Step Functions, SAP BTP, Boomi, Celigo, or equivalent.
• Strong Salesforce knowledge, including the data model, REST, Bulk and Streaming APIs, Connected Apps, and Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, mTLS, API gateway policies, and secrets management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration delivery and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Integration Architecture Designer certification.
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks in consulting or managed services.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, Avro, and Parquet data transformation standards.
• Exposure to Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Salesforce Platform Events, or CDC streaming patterns.
• Pre-sales or solution-scoping experience, including effort estimation and proposal writing.
• Experience across Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, or Public Sector industries.
