What you will do

  • Own vehicle-level product positions and recommend trade-offs across customer value, attributes, architecture, content, cost, timing, quality, and risk.
  • Drive integrated plans, KPIs, governance, delivery, issue resolution, resource planning, and escalation of material risks.
  • Lead pre-series and launch-cost planning, including build strategy, timing, budget, vehicle availability, and readiness.
  • Prepare decision-ready proposals and status updates for senior management and governance committees while aligning partners and suppliers.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of automotive experience in complete-vehicle product management, vehicle integration, pre-series, or vehicle program management.
  • Proven leadership of complex vehicle programs covering priorities, governance, integrated plans, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Strong complete-vehicle integration expertise across customer requirements, attributes, features, architecture, validation, manufacturing feasibility, and commercial targets.
  • Hands-on pre-series and launch experience involving build planning, vehicle availability, parts maturity, readiness, issue resolution, and cost control.
  • Business ownership across content, scope, cost, timing, and quality, with budget, milestone, and KPI management.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, cross-functional leadership, and influence across Product, Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, partners, and suppliers.
  • Ability to clarify accountability, close ownership gaps, maintain delivery focus without formal reporting authority, and communicate trade-offs and recommendations to senior forums.
  • Broad understanding of vehicle architecture, attributes, E/E, software-enabled features, validation, and production processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, plus experience with vehicle program, requirements, issue, and lifecycle-management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Ownership of vehicle-level budgets, pre-series or launch costs, build quantities, vehicle availability, or resource plans.
  • Experience delivering in global, matrixed automotive organizations with external partners and suppliers.
  • Success leading complex programs or cross-functional teams through influence, subject-matter expertise, and structured governance.
