Senior Project Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex epics and projects across corporate functions, technology teams, entities, locations, and third-party suppliers.
• Translate strategic objectives and business needs into delivery roadmaps, scope, milestones, outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain integrated plans covering resources, budgets, procurement, risks, dependencies, environments, releases, and operational readiness.
• Mobilise and lead cross-functional teams spanning business, IT, security, architecture, data, operations, and suppliers.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, changes, governance, security, resilience, architecture, data, procurement, and Agile delivery standards.
• Drive testing, cutover, change adoption, transition to operations, benefits realisation, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading large, complex technology-enabled transformation initiatives, preferably in a regulated or financial-services environment.
• Demonstrated affinity with corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Legal, including how technology, data, controls, and operating processes support these domains.
• Strong delivery discipline across planning, financial management, resource forecasting, dependency management, risk and issue control, and governance.
• Experience delivering packaged software, ERP, SaaS, cloud-hosted, or cross-platform implementations and upgrades.
• Ability to apply systems thinking, understand the wider landscape, and move into detail when intervention is required.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior business and technology stakeholders while building trusted relationships across organisational boundaries.
• Clear and concise communication skills, strong negotiation and conflict-resolution capabilities, and supplier-management experience.
• Independent, organised, and resilient leadership style with flexibility to reprioritise in a changing environment.
• Practical experience with Agile delivery frameworks and collaboration across multiple squads.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to major corporate-function platform transformations, particularly ERP or enterprise package implementations and upgrades.
• Experience integrating business process, data, controls, and technology change across several corporate functions.
• Proven delivery experience with outsourcing, offshoring, and software or cloud vendors.
• Knowledge of service transition, operational resilience, information security, and regulatory expectations in financial services.
• Relevant delivery or project-management certification, such as PRINCE2, PMI, or an equivalent framework.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.
