Salary: Associate: $71,650–$109,800; Mid-Level: $85,600–$131,200; Senior: $105,400–$161,600

What you will do

• Analyze and design operation sequences, workflows, facility layouts, and product flows to improve production efficiency and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement improvements based on cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production records studies.
• Develop time standards and standard work for shop-floor operations and processes.
• Perform capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization analysis, and production line balancing.
• Assist with facility planning and design, accident prevention measures, and production training programs when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program, with preference for an Industrial Engineering degree.
• At least 2 years of related engineering experience.
• The position is based in Wichita, Kansas, and is union-represented.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Mid-Level, Level 3.
• At least 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Senior, Level 4.
• Experience in aircraft or aerospace manufacturing.
• Composite manufacturing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering tools used in production, including capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvement methods.
