Contract Jr. Analyst - Finance

Location: Detroit, United States; hybrid working model with teams in the office around four days a week.

Base salary: $35,000–$75,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and process Studio invoices and monthly billing for projects.
• Open jobs in Maconomy, create estimates, and prepare invoices.
• Issue external purchase orders, complete vendor setup paperwork, and approve invoices for Accounts Payable.
• Process Agency Close Alerts, reconcile checks and postings, and create weekly open-job reports.
• Review work in progress with Client Engagement to facilitate partial billings and resolve finance-related issues.
• Maintain project and financial records for Makerhouse, including manual and digital Job Jacket filing.

Requirements

• Finance, accounting, project management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a creative, post-production, or advertising environment.
• Experience creating and editing financial reports.
• Familiarity with project or finance management software.
• Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the role.
