Salary: $71,650–$109,800 per year

What you will do

• Analyze and design production workflows, operation sequences, facility layouts, and product flow improvements.
• Develop methods for efficient use of production facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Conduct cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production records studies.
• Develop standard work, process standards, and time standards for shop-floor operations.
• Perform capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization analysis, and line balancing.
• Analyze shop performance trends and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years of industrial engineering experience.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering tools used in production, including capacity analysis, theory of constraints, waste elimination, and production improvements.
• Experience leading projects and project teams with a continuous improvement focus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Project management experience.
