R&D Team Lead - JFrog Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead a team of 4–6 developers working on large-scale, complex, and cutting-edge systems.
• Manage multiple simultaneous software development projects from design through release.
• Identify and manage risks and issues while driving stakeholders toward on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Make key decisions regarding the effort and implementation of development initiatives.
• Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and code-level support to developers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience and at least 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience managing highly skilled developers and leading, coaching, guiding, and influencing them.
• Proven experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud, or microservices architecture.
• Strong track record leading and managing software development project delivery, meeting key milestones, and overcoming challenges.
• Experience with both architecture-level and implementation-level software design for high-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to manage, track, and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges in advance, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them.
• Willingness to work with a driven team in a fast-paced, context-switching environment.
