Senior Malware Researcher (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware, implants, loaders, and tooling used by APTs and sophisticated adversaries.
• Reverse engineer PE, ELF, .NET, PowerShell, and JavaScript/VBA samples to identify capabilities, execution flows, persistence mechanisms, and evasion techniques.
• Extract and document malware configurations and C2 information, mapping findings to campaigns, infrastructure, and threat actors with CTI researchers.
• Develop and maintain YARA rules, VT LiveHunt queries, CAPA rules, and sandbox behavior signatures for detection and threat hunting.
• Collaborate with CyberAI researchers on artificial cyber researchers and AI-driven malware analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including significant hands-on malware research focused on APTs and state-linked actors.
• Strong proficiency with IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg/WinDbg, and common dynamic analysis and sandbox environments.
• Deep understanding of Windows, Linux, Android, and Mac OS internals, including persistence and execution techniques and modern offensive tradecraft.
• Demonstrated experience extracting configurations, C2 endpoints, and capabilities from compiled and scripted malware.
• Strong investigative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with incomplete or obfuscated data.
