Head of Engineering (AI/Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead and grow the engineering organization, including team leads and individual contributors.
• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with company goals.
• Build scalable engineering processes and development practices.
• Partner with product, security, and executive leadership on roadmap and strategy.
• Maintain high standards for system architecture, reliability, and security.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent while driving ownership, innovation, and execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including a proven track record of leading engineering teams in startup and high-growth environments.
• Experience managing multiple teams or team leads.
• Strong system architecture and cloud-native platform experience.
• Experience with microservices architectures and large-scale systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or developer tooling.
• Experience scaling engineering teams from early-stage to growth-stage companies.
• Familiarity with AI-driven platforms or data-intensive systems.
