AI Solutions Developer

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work with flexible in-office days.

Base pay: $165,000–$300,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Embed with teams across the firm to understand workflows, identify AI augmentation opportunities, and deliver working systems.
• Design and build agent-based workflows for knowledge and analysis tasks, including orchestration, escalation, and human-agent interaction patterns.
• Develop integrations between AI capabilities and firm infrastructure, including MCP servers, APIs, data pipelines, and internal tooling.
• Build and maintain deployment infrastructure for AI-powered systems, including monitoring, observability, and operational support.
• Contribute to the AI platform through production systems built across diverse domains.
• Scope problems, make architectural decisions, and deliver results with significant autonomy and minimal specification.

Requirements

• BS or equivalent work experience in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• At least 1 year of experience is required; 5–10 years of experience is preferred.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems that others depend on.
• Meaningful experience with AI tooling and agentic systems during the past 2–3 years, including understanding how these tools have evolved and where they break down.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid context-switching across projects, domains, and partner teams.
• Experience designing and building integrations, APIs, or developer tooling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand other people's problems before solving them.
