.NET Tech Lead (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate delivery of scalable, secure solutions using strong software engineering practices, including code quality, CI/CD, and security.
• Own technical delivery for products and software solutions, including design, estimation, solution shaping, and user story or requirement creation.
• Document architectures, configurations, releases, and support handovers.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, testers, product stakeholders, customers, and end users throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Communicate technical designs clearly, provide knowledge transfer, and coach junior team members and the wider community.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures.
• Hands-on development experience with Angular for frontend development and .NET and C# for backend development.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements and experience developing applications with them in mind.
• Strong experience with Test-Driven Development, including unit and integration testing and maintaining a robust test suite for continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience developing REST-based APIs.
• Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, and Docker.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for application containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience developing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Virtual Machines; strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, serverless computing, and scalable application design.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
