Software Engineer, Trading Engineering (C/C++/Rust)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work policy with flexible in-office days

Base pay: $165,000–$250,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Build platforms for simulation and live trading across financial markets, instruments, and trading algorithms.
• Extend trading platforms to new markets and asset classes while accounting for security-specific financial details.
• Review code and analyze software performance and quantitative measures to guide trading-system design and improvements.
• Design, engineer, and implement financial trading and measurement applications.
• Provide software support to traders implementing portfolio orders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience is required; 2–6 years of systems-level development experience is preferred.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with C, C++, or Rust.
• High-level understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python.
• Experience deploying and optimizing quantitative models in production environments.
• Experience with large-scale systems.
