Software Engineers, Mobile (iOS/Android)

What you will do

• Own significant parts of hirify.global’s native iOS and Android applications, shaping technical direction and architecture.
• Build and ship complex mobile features across the commerce stack.
• Apply AI and agent swarms to mobile development while maintaining quality, and help other engineers use these approaches.
• Improve engineering quality through code review, pairing, and technical leadership.
• Work with product, design, support, and other stakeholders on ambiguous, multi-quarter initiatives.
• Help evaluate and hire engineers; participate in on-call work when required.

Requirements

• Deep experience building and operating production native mobile applications used by millions of users worldwide.
• Strong command of Swift and SwiftUI, or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to review, debug, and guide work across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience designing maintainable mobile architecture covering state, effects, dependencies, navigation, persistence, and platform lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and cancellation, including Swift structured concurrency or Kotlin coroutines and Flow.
• Experience designing mobile GraphQL APIs and data layers with caching, pagination, mutation consistency, refresh, offline behavior, and typed failures.
• Experience building accessible and localized interfaces that perform well across devices, screen sizes, and real-world network conditions.
• Experience testing logic, asynchronous behavior, user journeys, device behavior, and production readiness.
• Experience defining analytics, logs, errors, metrics, and traces, connecting them to alerts and operational playbooks, and shipping through app-store pipelines with staged rollouts, feature controls, rollback plans, and incident response.
• Record of leading ambiguous, multi-quarter technical work from problem definition through production operation.
