Senior Flutter/Dart Mobile Engineer

Location: Costa Rica; other locations: Colombia and Chile; remote work indicated by #LI-REMOTE.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Flutter and Dart mobile applications focused on reliability, performance, and offline functionality.
• Lead development of a shared offline package with local caching, queued operations, background synchronization, and connectivity-state management.
• Integrate offline capabilities into Workforce Tools and WFHQ, maintaining consistent functionality and data handling.
• Implement local persistence, offline-first conflict resolution, synchronization recovery, data-age indicators, and safeguards for stale or limited-connectivity data.
• Develop unit and integration tests for offline functionality, application restarts, synchronization recovery, and extended offline scenarios.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, mentoring, collaboration, and validation across devices and operating-system versions.

Requirements

• Consultative problem-solving approach focused on aligning digital solutions with clients’ long-term business goals and exceeding client expectations.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve daily work, or a strong willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption.
• Ability to oversee projects and execute deliverables in a high-growth organization.
• Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, coach, and positively influence colleagues through presentations and effective leadership.
• Full understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Intellectual curiosity, flexibility, continuous-learning mindset, and ability to develop creative solutions.
• Desire to work in a team environment with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification; an opportunity to obtain the certification may be available through hirify.global.
• Previous AI experience or a proven track record of rapidly learning and mentoring others on emerging technology.
