Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
• Define mobile application architecture covering navigation, state management, and reusable components.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services, implementing authentication, authorization, secure storage, and session management.
• Develop native device features including location, camera, push notifications, and device storage, while handling offline scenarios, caching, and synchronization.
• Optimize performance and stability, troubleshoot crashes and platform-specific issues, and maintain unit and UI tests.
• Lead code reviews, contribute to coding standards, use approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Backend teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years with React Native.
• Practical experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem.
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of React concepts, hooks, component architecture, and state management, including Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience with mobile navigation, local storage, asynchronous data handling, and the iOS and Android application lifecycle and platform differences.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and implementing authentication and secure storage.
• Experience debugging and optimizing mobile application performance.
• Experience with mobile testing tools such as Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools while maintaining responsibility for code quality and correctness; experience with Git and code review processes.
• Good communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
