Branch Manager - Greenwich, CT (Business Banking)

Location: Greenwich, Connecticut, United States of America; onsite position.

Salary: $91,100–$151,800 annual (USD).

What you will do

• Manage the branch operating model, profitability, annual sales goals, customer experience, employee experience, digital engagement, transactions, operations, servicing, and sales.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, select, and manage branch staff, including performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking customer needs and provide short- and long-term product and service solutions.
• Prospect and grow Business Banking relationships through outreach, outside calling, community presence, and proactive sales activities.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud-prevention, and customer-asset protection standards.
• Resolve complex account servicing and error-resolution issues, process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000, and build partnerships across the bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and at least two years of managerial experience or proven leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office for word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to maintain federal SAFE Act registration requirements.
• Ability to maintain insurance licensing minimum expectations and complete Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing within 18 months of entry when required by market manager or branch needs; training is provided within six months.
• Ability to complete M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to stay current on operational, product, and system changes and demonstrate sound risk-management decisions.
