Assurance Senior Associate - ICP (Industrial and Consumer Products)

Location: San Francisco, Walnut Creek, or Rancho Cordova, California, United States; face-to-face client work is required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Salary: $100,600–$130,000 in San Francisco; $96,700–$125,000 in Walnut Creek; $89,000–$115,000 in Rancho Cordova.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services as a trusted member of engagement teams.
• Engage with clients throughout the year, gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review internal control testing, recommend improvements, and discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners.
• Build client and internal relationships, support associate development, and participate in learning and development programs.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• Eligibility to obtain a CPA license.
• At least three years of experience.
• Demonstrated time management, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, along with initiative and adaptability.
• Microsoft Suite skills.

Nice to have

• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA exam completion.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Three or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Specific Industrial and Consumer Products industry experience.
