Integration Lead Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, USA

Salary: $125,546–$140,875 per year, with potential additional compensation such as bonuses.

What you will do

• Design and build HL7, FHIR, EDI, XML, and API interfaces on InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS and OpenShift.
• Own interface control documents and integration test plans and results.
• Build bidirectional interfaces between legacy and modernized financial and asset systems.
• Set integration standards, conduct code reviews, and establish CI/CD practices for integration services.
• Lead and mentor integration engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of interface development experience, including 5+ years with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, or ObjectScript; Senior / Level III experience.
• Experience with HL7 v2, FHIR, EDI, and REST API integration.
• Experience writing interface control documents and integration test plans.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Nice to have

• Oracle Health EHR or iFAMS interface experience.
• OpenShift and CI/CD experience for integration services.
• Salesforce integration experience.
• InterSystems HealthShare Health Connect HL7 Interface Specialist certification.
• InterSystems IRIS Core Solutions Developer Specialist certification.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
• Red Hat Cloud-Native Applications certification.
