Platform Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for on-premises and cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and other stakeholders to automate processes and improve system reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and infrastructure deployment best practices.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

Requirements

• Senior-level DevOps experience with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, routing, VPNs, and DNS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and basic cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Experience developing infrastructure provisioning tools and scripts to automate deployment and configuration, including reusable modules and templates.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi; strong problem-solving, independent working, communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications in networking, cloud, or DevOps, such as CCNA or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
