IT Platform Engineer Senior Manager (AWS)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a microservices platform for BCG.
• Gather and implement feedback from platform consumers using DevSecOps best practices.
• Implement solutions with Kubernetes, Python, and Terraform.
• Resolve complex technical issues and involve the appropriate resources when needed.
• Present and evangelize the platform while influencing direction, articulating risks, and proposing secure solutions and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business stakeholders, distributed teams, and offshore teams in New Delhi.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with AWS and microservices-based architecture.
• Hands-on, low-level AWS experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 8+ years of experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Octopus, or other CI/CD tools.
• 4+ years of experience with Packer and Terraform.
• Experience resolving complex issues independently and bringing in the right resources when necessary.
• Consultative stakeholder approach, including influencing direction, articulating risks, and presenting secure solutions and roadmaps.
• Experience building relationships across teams and offices, working in Agile development teams, and collaborating with offshore development teams.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• Application development experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes add-ons, security, monitoring, and scaling.
