Senior Cloud Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Lisbon, hybrid. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

Work with a client operating in the financial technology industry to build the cloud platform supporting its growth.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain a new cloud platform supporting organizational growth.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform across public and private cloud providers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Azure DevOps, and implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
• Work with Azure, OpenStack, and Kubernetes platforms including AKS, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Administer RedHat and Ubuntu Linux systems, DNS, TCP, and HTTP networking.
• Support PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, Helm, Consul, and Vault.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with GitOps solutions such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with public and private cloud platforms, including Azure and OpenStack.
• Experience with container orchestrators including Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, or OpenShift.
• Strong Linux administration skills and solid networking fundamentals.
• Experience with configuration management tools including Helm, Consul, and Vault.
• Proactive and autonomous approach, with comfort working in an agile Scrum environment.
• Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, containerization, and cloud or serverless architecture patterns.
• Passion for automation and affinity with financial markets and wealth management.
