Senior Umbraco Developer (Umbraco)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; remote

What you will do

• Build, support, and maintain public-facing transactional web shops for ticketing, hospitality, and accommodation.
• Develop dynamic, high-performance websites for major sporting events.
• Optimize performance and improve system scalability.
• Investigate issues, fix inconsistencies, and eliminate recurring problems.
• Encourage code reviews and maintain high-quality code.
• Foster knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

• Ongoing experience with Umbraco v7, v8, and v9–v16.
• .NET and C# experience, including understanding of Razor and C#.
• Real-world experience extending Umbraco BackOffice, including property editors, Surface Controllers, API Controllers, Authorized Controllers, Render Controllers, Model Builder, and Examine Indexing.
• Understanding of programming best practices, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, linting, and unit testing.
• Experience with Git and Docker.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio 2022, Visual Studio Code, or JetBrains Rider.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tagging and implementation.
• Experience with SEO.
• Ability to work in English.

Nice to have

• Vue.js 2–3, JavaScript, and TypeScript experience.
• Salesforce integration experience.
• Arabic as an additional language.
